In Misery, author Paul Sheldon does not remember having a car crash and being nursed back from unconsciousness but he remembers waking up in a maniacal fan who is bent on keeping him as her prisoner for the rest of his life. 1. Prometheus In Prometheus, a tam of scientists journeys to space and all die.

Misery Movie Review

The movie is about an author Paul Sheldon who crashes his car on a remote road and is rescued by a friendly woman whose name is Annie Wilkes who says she is a big fan of his books and soon Paul realizes Annie is a maniacal fan who is bent on keeping her favorite writer as her prisoner forever is also a crazed nurse. Based on the Stephen King novel, it is a heart-stopping thriller starring James Caan and Kathy Bates. Kathy Bates won an academy award.I would grade it ten out of ten stars.

Life Of Pi Movie Review

Life Of Pi is an incredible special effects packed adventure.It is based on the best-selling novel by Yaan Martel which is about an adventure centering on Pi , a son of a zookeeper , who after a tragic shipwreck is adrift in the Pacific  Ocean on a life boat with a tiger named Richard Parker who is fighting for their lives. It is truly original and will touch your heart. If I were to grade it out of ten stars, I would grade it seven out of ten stars.

Cell Book Review

Cell is a thriller from Stephen King. Stephen King is a good author. He is my favorite author. In Cell, an event called The Pulse propels civilization into its second dark age, the virus is carried by every cell phone operating in the world and those using cell phones will be infected and Clayton Riddle has to reach to his son before he turns on his phone. The book is brilliantly written and is totally  original. Fans will definitely rejoice. This book is a reason why Stephen King is one of the best selling authors in the whole, wide world ever!If I were to grade it out of ten stars, I would grade it ten out of ten stars.

Resident Evil Archives Wii Game Review

You play as Chris Redfield ,a member of the Racoon City Police Department S.T.A.R.S Alpha Team,   or as Jill Valentine,who is also a member of the Racoon City Police Department S.T.A.R.S Alpha Team, as you travel to a creepy mansion and prevail against deadly traps, gigantic monsters, puzzles hiding throughout the mansion. The story changes depending on the character you choose to play.It takes some time to get used to the controls for beginners.This is a tip if you want to play the game: In order to save your progress, you must find Ink Ribbons. Caution! It costs you a Ink Ribbon everytime you save the game and there are very little Ink Ribbons. If I were to grade it out of ten stars, I would grade it ten out of ten stars.

1. First is Vickers from Prometheus.She is the bad guy and is quite mysterious. She works inthe Waylon Company and is the daughter of the boss of Waylon company. In Prometheus, a team of scientists and explorers discover  strange drawings engraved on the sides of many caves leading them to the darkest corners of mankind and a gory battle to save the future of mankind.           2.Second is Heather Mason from Silent Hill Revelation 3d. She is the protagonist of the film. In Silent Hill Revelation ,  on the eve of Heather's eighteenth birthday , she tries to find her father in SilentHill and realizes she is chosen to destroy the demon. 3. Third is David from Prometheus. He is a robot and is supposed to help  the scientists get their answers and he is evil . He. stole the show. 4. Last but not least  is the protagonist from. Sadako 3d. She is a high school teacher and after a student of hers dies  she investigates her death and is trapped in the most horrifying place imaginable.

Things You Should Do Before You Die

1:You should go to FrightFest @ Singapore Flyer. I went to the 2012 event. There were over twenty scare actors lurking in the garden underneath the Singapore  Flyer. There were many characters inspired from popular horror movies  such as The Exorcist, Stephen King's It, The Grudge , Friday The 13th,The Maid, Ringu and Dead Silence whom are ready to give guests a run for their lives if guests dare cross their paths.               2: Ride on a roller coaster with a loop in it.            3: Kiss the most beautiful girl in the entire world.                   3: Get an autograph from a famous actress like Michelle Phfeiffer or Milla Jovovich.                     4: Travel around the world and see the seven wonders of the world.                        5:Stay up all night.                        6: Go on a camp-out.

Movie: The Eye  ( AMERICAN VERSION )                                               
The movie is about a woman who had been blind since a childhood tragedy and undergo a surgery to restore her eye sight and she starts to see strange things and soon is convinced  that her eye donor wants her to save a million of people who lives are in grave danger. The movie is a bit scary and is good. If I were to grade it out of ten stars, I would grade it seven out of ten stars.                                                         
Movie: Saving Private Ryan     The movie is about many soldiers who have to save Ryan because  the rest of his brothers died and they cannot let the whole family die. The movie has incredible visual effects and is rated  nine out of ten stars

5:Avatar. James Cameron, director of Aliens, Titanic and  Jaws, makes a science  fiction film about some blue creatures and soldiers who want to kill them. The movie could have been improved. Rating:    Two Stars / Five Star 4: The Dark Knight Rises. The film is the dinal epic chapter of the Dark Knight trilogy.The story is about eight years after the events of The Dark Knight and  about Bane and Miranda Tate who is spreading death and chaos.Rating:FOUR STARS OUT OF FIVE STARS.             3:The Breakfast Club. It is about five teenagers who spend their saturday morning in detention and from the worst of enemies become the best of friends.Rating: Five Stars  /  Five STARS.     2:Prometheus. Ridley Scott returns to the genre which he helped define. In the movie, a team of scientists and explorers find strange inscriptions which leads them to the darkest corners of the earth. Rating: Five stars/ Five stars      1:The Dark Knight. In THE Dark Knight, Joker spreads chaos around the world and can the Dark Knight once again save Gotham from its gravest threat. Rating ;5 stars /5 stars     

Silent Hill Revelation 3D (2012) Coming Soon

Bloodier and scarier than ever, Silent Hill comes alive when the gates of hell opens again. Brace yourself for a horrifying night of frights and fears. Keep your eyes peeled for what horrors lurks in the shadows.The movie is coming soon and I cannot wait to check it out as I like playing Silent Hill the arcade. I saw the trailer and it was about a girl who tries to find her father in Silent Hill and realises she is not who she thinks she is. I hope the movie is not as bad as the prequel.

You've GOT MAIL AND Chernobyl Diaries MOVIE REVIEW

MOVIE:You 've Got Mail You've Got Mail has everything you'll will expect from a reunion of actors ( Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan)and director ( Nora Ephron) of Sleepless In Seattle. The story is about two anonymous e-mail cyberpals who fall in love, but they are unaware that they are buisness rivals. The movie is probably one of hollywood's finest romantic comedies. The movie has non-stop humour from start to finish.The movie is very good and if I were to grade it out of ten stars, I would grade it ten out of ten stars. Movie: Chernobyl Diaries The movie is slow-paced and has many shock-tatics. The budget of the film is probably a fraction of Prometheus movie's budget. The story is about a group of teenagers who travel to Chernobyl and finds themselves stranded in a zombie-infested town. If I were to grade it out of ten stars,I would grade it four out of ten stars.

My TRIP TO SINGAPORE FLYER

Today, my mother brought me to the singapore flyer. First thing we did was to go inside the beautiful garden underneath the singapore flyer. That was because I loved greeneries. In the garden, we wandered through caves, waterfalls,lush vegetation and ponds.Also , the halloween event was located in that garden. I know that because I went to the event. For more information about it, check out the post I wrote about it in this blog.The second thing did was going into the restaurant called OLEARLY'S. The restaurant had mouth-watering food. I ate a Fish Burger with french fries while my mother ate pasta. The fish burger tasted awesome.Thirdly, we went sat on a 6D ride in Xd Theatre. It was a thrilling ride from start to finish. For more information, check out the previous post in my blog. Lastly, we sat on the Singapore Flyer which is the tallest ferris wheel in the whole of Singapore. Every moment was a moving experience.

XD Theatre At SPore Flyer

Experience the ultimate 6D ride at Singapore Flyer. Imagine yourself being tossed and turned and going down mountains in a cinema. It was spectacular.For safety, you should not have any illnesses before experiencing any of the rides. The ride I went was called Canyon Coaster.There was a high-definition 3D wide screen. I could feel every shake and bump which happened on the screen ,including windy gusts and more!It was a thrilling ride from start to finish with things collapsing,traps and many surprises!It was one of the best rides I ever sat in my entire life. I wish to sit on the ride again and again!

THREE MOVIE REVIEWS

The first movie is THE MAID. The story is about a filipino maid named Rosa who arrived to singapore and starts glimpsing strange apparitions at night and discovers the truth of Esther's( a previous maid with the TEO'S)MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARENCE. Esther's spirit continues to linger in the Teo's house,trying to take the Teo's family's souls.The movie is quite good and has some shock-tatics.If I were to grade the film, I would grade it seven out of ten stars. The second is Haunted Changi. The story is about a crew of film makers who make a movie in Old Changi Hospital and all of them will never forget what happened.The movie is okay.If I were to grade the movie out of ten stars, I would grade it four out of ten stars.The last but not least is It. The story revolves around an inter-dimensional predatory life-form, which has the ability to transform itself into its prey's worst fears ,allowing it to exploit the fears of its victims. It mostly takes the form of a clown called Pennywise The Dancing Clown. The movie is lousy and has very cheap special effects. If I were to grade it ,I would grade it three out of ten stars.

Ju-On The Grudge Movie review

It is a haunting movie as two ghosts who died in a powerful rage kills anybody who dares step into their house.The movie contains disturbing scenes and shocking scenes.The movie is quite scary as the environment is creepy.Hopes were high for the film as the creators of the film created Ringu the successful Japanese horror film.My favorite character is the main character. If I were to grade it,I would grade it eight out of ten stars.

Dark Escape The Arcade Review

Find out what lurks inside the creepy island as you wander through prisons,cabins and death chambers.You play as a man or a woman in the game.The game contains shocking scenes and grotesque creatures. The sound in the game is deafening and can make you go deaf.Dark Escape is a 4d shooting game. The game is probably one of the worst arcade games ever made. So do not waste your money playing it and instead play better arcade games like The House Of The Dead 4 or Silent Hill. Rating:Two / Ten stars

Resident Evil : retribution: The T- virus continues to turn the world's population to flesh-eating creatures.Reunited with friends and foes like Ada Wong, Luther West, Albert Wesker,Rain and Albert Wesker, she must fight her way out of the Umbrella Coporation in order to survive.Rating:half star/five stars Ah Boys To Men: This film will make you laugh non-stop. It is about a group of eighteen-year-olds who go to NS and become the best of friends.Rating: four stars / five stars Dark Water: From the author of The Ring comes a horrifying thriller starring Jennifer Connelly. Dahlia and her daughter move into an affordable apartment.That is when a constant drips lead to a flood of dark water and strange happenings in the apartment above. This film will touch your heart.Rating:Four and a half stars/five stars

A story I created ( Part two)

The blond girl ran and ran. Soon, she was lost in the deepest enclaves of a forest.The first thing she saw was a mysterious cave and she headed straight inside. The long winding path within the cave led to a torture chamber.In the torture chamber, there was a man with facial scars brutally murdering a young boy. That was when the blond girl realised the man with facial scars was Freddy Krueger from The Nightmare On Elm Street. The blond girl's face twisted in horror and her eyes were wide and unblinking. Before she came to her senses, Freddy used his fingernails ( which are claws) to slash her leg. The girl grimaced in pain and let out a blood-curdling scream.She grabbed her leg and ran further in the forest and hid in some bushes. That's when a guy in the bushes with blood on his face covered her mouth and dragged her away. The girl was never found again. The End.

A story I created (part one)

When Jane was washing her hands in the public toilet, she heard some strange noises.She tried to ignore them and continue washing her hands. However, the noises kept getting louder.She had to find out who or what was making that sound.Jane decided to open all the doors in the toilet. She opened the first door as it gave off an ominous glow. Jane saw a horrifying ghost in the room.The ghost had ruby-red eyes,orange skin and was entirely covered in yellow slime.Jane screamed,panic written all over her face.The ghost dragged her into the room. The door closed and locked by its own self. Just then,a girl with blond hair came bursting into the toilet as she heard Jane's screams. She saw nobody in the toilet. She thought there was a ghost and started to run out of the toilet. What she wanted to do was to find the nearest pay phone and call the police to tell them that there is a ghost. To be continued......

I cannot wait for this day

My family and I are going Hong Kong and I cannot wait for that day. We will be staying in Disney Hotel and I heard the Disneyland is an awesome place. I am already going there on the December Holidays!We already started packing our suitcases.

How I will Make A Haunted House

The theme of the haunted house would be popular horror movies.There will be two haunted trails.One of them will be named The Mansion Of Terror.The other will be named The Haunted Garden.There will be over 30 scare actors all lurking around each trail ready to give guests a good scare.There will be characters from each trail are inspired from horror movies such as It,V For Vendetta , Scream, Ju-on, Prometheus,Ringu and The Exorcist.There will be some bloody places like the haunted beach in the Haunted Garden,The Dining Room in the Mansion Of Terror and the Engineer's Hideout which is the goriest place in the Haunted Garden.There will also be some bloody props and ghosts like the baby in the jar, the Grudge Ghost,the dead engineer from Prometheus,the dead girl on the bed and the zombies from The Walking Dead.There will also be creppy noises and the sound effect will be awesome.Tle last thing about the haunted house but not least is that the first three guests get a 5 percent discount.

Resident Evil Damnation The CG movie

The movie is about a United States Special Agent named Leon S. Kennedy who sneaks into a small country to investigate about rumours that Bio Organic Weapons(B.O.w.s) are being used in the war and right after his infiltration, his partner , Hunnigan, orders him to get out of the country immediately but he ignores the order and discover the most horrifying things in his entire life.The movie is a CG cartoon and it was beautifully made. It is probably one of the worst movies ever made and is definitely not recommended for the faint-hearted and the very young as there are some grotesque scenes which I should not tell you because it will spoil the movie for you.My favourite character in the movie is Leon as he is the smartest person.My favourite monster is the Licker.If I were to grade the movi,I would grade it six out of ten stars.

What I Did in The Young Author Scheme

My name is Cedric Koh and I have been an alien movie fan as long as I can remember.That is the reason why I wrote a book about aliens during YAs. My book was chosen to be in a contest andI want to win the contest. This is a sneak peek of my book. Chapter 4 The Cave The first thing we saw was a mysterious cave and we headed straight inside since it gave off an ominous glow.The long, winding path within the cave led us to a gigantic mountain.The mountain towered over us like Mount Everest. I was never a good climber and I doubted that I would ever reach the top of the mountain.Nevertheless,I knew I knew I had to try my best and not let down my team.Just as we were about to begin our ascent, my attention was arrested by a round ball that was illuminated by a glaring white light. It was attached to a rockThe egg slowly cracked and there appeared to be a snake-liked creature coiled inside it,sleeping.

Explorer Kids

We were in my grandmother's small Toyota that afternoon.My grandmothernwas driving to Downtown East as we had decided to spend an afternoon in Explorer Kids.The houses on both sides of the car became a blur.We were very excited.Soon,we reached our journey. I went down many slides and soon I was very bored of playing the same thing.So,my aunty brought me to a attraction called Land of Adventure.You had to hold onto a rope and do many obstacles.It was an enjoyable experience .

What I did after exams

After my exams,I did lots of fun things.First,I went to Legoland Malaysia.My favourite ride is the boat ride.The boat ride is very scary as the boat will drop down a 20 meter waterfall.My second favourite ride is Project X.It is one of the scariest rides there and my mother had to force me to sit on the ride. Secondly,I went to frightfest 2012 the undead forest.Making it bigger and better than last year's,guests will start their adventure with a horrifying walk through the Undead Forest.Over twenty scare actors will be lurking around to give guests a good scare.Be prepared for the worst as you may come face-to -with characters inspired from Asian and western horror movies such as Ju-on,Nightmare On Elm Street,Friday The 13th,Dead Silence,It and The Maid.It is highly recommended. Lastly,I went to Explorer Kids with my cousins and my sister.It was an enjoyable experience as there were many slides and many more!!!!I wish to go there again.

FRIGHTFEST 2012 THE UNDEAD FOREST

Step into Singapore's most horrifying halloween event this October at SINGAPORE fLYER. FRIGHTFEST may not be suitable for pregnant woman, toddlers and the faint-hearted. This year's FRIGHTFEST's theme is based on asian and western horror movies. My favourite character is Jason because he kept chasing my mother and I.My least favourite character is Mary Shaw because she kept screamig like a mad woman. IN FRIGHTFEST,we had to walk through winding paths,waterfalls and caves.I enjoyed Frightfest as there were many scare actors popping out from many places.After we wandered in the Undead Forest, a man interviewed my father,mother and I.I think they may use to advertise next year's Frightfest. THat's all.

A Sneak Peek at Ridley Scott's Prometheus

Let me start of by saying Ridley Scott is one of my favourite sci-fi directors. When Alien came out, it grossed 105 million dollars worldwide and in many ways has defined Scott's career. In Prometheus, a team of scientists find an invitation to space and journeys to space and what they find could threaten all life on earth. My favourite character is Vickers. She is a lady who wants her father to die. Vickers died a horrible death in the movie. Prometheus was beautifully made and the special effects are one of the best this year.The most disgusting scene is Fifield's mutation. There is also another gross scene. It is the scene where the main character went for a caesarean. If I were to grade it, I would grade it ten out of ten stars.

The Dark Night Rises

The Dark Knight Rises is the last batman movie Christopher Nolan is going to make. The success of the earlier movie meant hopes were high for the seqeul and it did not disappoint. Because it was amazing!My favourite character is Batman because he is the smartest character. My least favourite character is Miranda Tate as she is a stupid person who is very fat.If I were to grade the movie, I would grade ten out of ten stars.
